The Platform

Everything your facility needs, in one system

Each module is powerful alone. Together they share one patient record, one price list and one audit trail — so nothing is entered twice and nothing falls between departments.

One connected journey

From registration to reimbursement

Every step feeds the next. What the nurse records at triage, the doctor sees in consultation; what the doctor prescribes, the pharmacy dispenses; what each department does, billing and claims capture automatically.

Registration→ Triage→ Consultation→ Lab / Imaging→ Pharmacy→ Billing→ NHIS / Insurance→ Discharge→ Reporting

No re-keying

Data captured once at the point of care flows into every downstream step — including the claim.

Nothing missed

Orders, dispensed medicines and services post to the bill automatically, so revenue matches care delivered.

Fully traceable

Every entry carries who, what and when — an audit trail that protects patients, staff and the facility.

Built for Ghana

NHIS is not a feature here. It's the backbone.

Most hospital systems treat insurance as an afterthought. Digitrust HMS is designed around Ghana's healthcare ecosystem: NHIS membership verification at the date of service, G-DRG coding with level-of-care validation, CCC generation, claims preparation and line-by-line reconciliation of what was submitted against what was paid.

  • Eligibility stamped and stored with every encounter
  • Tariff-aware pricing by ownership, facility level and catering status
  • Four pre-vetting checks before a claim ever leaves the facility
  • Designed for OTAC / NeHFAMS attendance verification as it rolls out
Decisions, not guesswork

Your whole operation, on one screen

Attendance, revenue, bed occupancy, claims performance, pharmacy sales and doctor productivity — consolidated across every branch, updated as work happens. Leadership sees today, not last quarter.

Implementation

Live in weeks, with your team trained

A hospital system only works if your people use it. Our implementation process is built around your facility's actual workflows.

Step 01

Discovery

We map your departments, services, price lists and NHIS profile — ownership, level and catering status.

Step 02

Configuration

Wards, service catalogues, drug lists, tariffs and user roles set up to match how your facility actually runs.

Step 03

Training & migration

Role-based training for front desk, clinicians, pharmacy, lab and accounts, with patient data migrated carefully.

Step 04

Go-live & support

On-site go-live support, then ongoing local support that understands Ghanaian healthcare operations.

Common questions

Before you ask

Is Digitrust HMS suitable for a small clinic, or only large hospitals?

Both. Modules are configured to your facility type — a clinic runs registration, consultation, pharmacy and billing without the weight of ward management, while a hospital adds IPD, theatre workflows, laboratory and multi-department billing. NHIS validation adapts to your facility level too, so a health centre is never allowed to prepare a claim priced only for hospitals.

How does the NHIS claims support actually work?

Every encounter captures eligibility at the date of service. As clinicians document, the system maps care to G-DRG codes and prices them from the tariff schedule in force for your ownership, level and catering status. Before submission, each claim runs four pre-vetting checks — eligibility, level of care, clinical coherence and arithmetic/bundling — and flagged claims are held for review with the reason and the money at risk. See the full workflow on the NHIS & Claims page.

What happens to our existing patient records?

Data migration is part of implementation. We work with your team to import patient demographics, active NHIS membership details, drug catalogues and price lists, and to agree what historical clinical data should be carried across versus archived.
